WordPress
Ugh, more WordPress issues with this site. Something changed and overnight I cannot add/edit posts from my ancient laptop. No problems from my phone though. Seems like it could be a plugin conflict. And of course it’s the gallery plugin!
For now I’ll be updating from my phone then, which is kind of annoying. Hopefully there will be some kind of update that will fix it. Might just be the laptop isn’t powerful enough.
Holy crap! Of all things, IE11 in Windows 7 works! At least it can load the posts edit page, we’ll see if it actually works. It’s slow as hell moving in this interface though, and a little buggy.
Amazing! I can use Chrome on the ancient laptop as long as I open developer tools and toggle device toolbar. Much better than IE11. Oh, look at that, it’s just working fine now in normal Chrome. WTF? Must have been due to really bad internet speeds earlier or something. Well, at least it’s back to working like normal.
Or not. Seems the sidebar on the Gutenberg editor is what’s causing the issues. It wasn’t showing when I was editing in normal Chrome mode and as soon as I tried to open it, the page broke again.
QuickBooks
Ugh, gotta catch up on accounting. So far behind and we have a meeting scheduled with the accountant to go over things. I’m about 2/3 of the way through what I can do, but there’s so much I can’t enter because I’m not sure of the right way to do it yet.
Okay, so that’s all as done as it can get now. There’s a few things I need to discuss with the roommate, and a ton of stuff I haven’t learned how to properly enter yet. But at least I can say I’m staying on top of it. I MUST do a better job of entering stuff into QuickBook in a timely fashion.
Pools
Of course, I had to stop in the middle of the accounting to go service a pool. Luckily that only took about an hour to complete. Once I was done, I headed back home to continue my work in QuickBooks.
QuickBooks
Ugh, so much accounting! I’m going to have to do a better job of staying on top of this. Problem is we have a meeting scheduled with the accountant tomorrow and I have a lot of data to enter. Should be able to get it done in time though. Of course, I do have to go service a pool really quick.
Stardew Valley
Meh, first time getting taken down in the mines. Only on level 17 too. Lost all the copper I picked up. I do have the silo building now, upgraded my backpack, and I’ve finally managed to meet everyone! Things are going swimmingly.
After the long day of work I continued to play more. Lots of clearing the farm now that I have a silo. A little fishing, a couple of fish added to the community center. Fishing is so much better on the Switch than using a mouse!
