Morning
Today is the day the roommate’s mother arrives. She will be watching over the business while we’re on vacation. After I leave for Atlanta, others will come join her. Someone’s gonna be sleeping in my room. Even after I get back they’ll still be here, so I’m gonna end up sleeping in another villa until they’re gone.
After removing all those bot hits my analytics look so much better. Average session duration is over 2 minutes, bounce rate is below 50%. I can’t wait until I can look at a full month of bot-less traffic.
After changing the max CPC on my keywords I’m getting much better performance with Google Ads. Instead the ads being shown all at once they’re much more spread throughout the day. I was suggested to add more keywords, took all but one. It seems that Google Ads now allows a third headline and a second description field. I’m not going to mess with the existing ads yet, but maybe once I’m back from vacation I’ll look into it.
Still no traffic on this site, I guess I should say hello to my followers. “Hello followers!” Hehehehe. I really want to get a new video put together about what I’m doing now and announce it that way. Maybe I should record another gameplay video too. I kinda want to keep doing that. Although, I’m not sure if it’ll be a let’s play. Maybe something more creative.
I spent a bit of time flipping through and reading on my marketing and advertising multireddit. Not a whole lot of useful stuff but I did comment on a post or two and hopefully I helped someone. After my shower I continued working on my Cultist Simulator guide. So far the guide is coming along well. It’s going to take a lot of work to make it look nice and usable.
Afternoon
We spent a good bit of time at a neighboring villa with the owners. They’re down here for just over a week and there is lot of work to do so the villa is ready for renting. We discussed repairs and new construction. They currently only have a dirt driveway and a local contractor stopped by to discuss his quote. They’ve also ordered furniture for their villa that should be arriving soon.

I think I might start writing some short stories too. Writing used to be one of my passions, maybe I can take some stories I’ve written (if I still have them) and post them up here on this site. Yup, I found a couple things I’ll post. Time to add “Stories” to the site. I may even steal a few ideas from /r/WritingPrompts. I have seen a few prompts that interest me, and have read a bit of other’s writings.
Sleeping Dogs – Spoiler Warning
Once again the roommate sent me to my room. That means more Sleeping Dogs! First thing I did was help run some drugs, unfortunately I got stuck with some kind of bug. Gunshot sound effect continually played in the background. Saved and loaded with no change. Ended up having to quit the game entirely and reload the save again.
After that I tried a quest that I just can’t figure out. It’s called Cheaters Never Prosper 3. I’m supposed to get somewhere within a time limit. I get close, but have no idea how to get to the exact spot. It’s behind some building and the GPS sucks for the mission. I’ve tried it many times and just can’t figure out where to go.
After giving up on that, Jackie Ma needed my help. I tied up a loose end with a criminal informant who was trying to rip him off. After that it was time to help Mrs Chu get revenge on Dogeyes for what he did to Winston. He threw all his men at me but they were no match. I slammed them on swordfish heads, dropped them in tanks of electric eels, and sliced them to pieces. In the end, Dogeyes was delivered to the Golden Koi and faced his punishment.

I’ve continued trying to work on my sorting system and I think I’ve done something wrong by trying to make it compact. I just can’t get the hoppers and droppers working together the way I want. I have a feeling I need to dig the whole system out again and redo it. Why does redstone always have to be so complicated?
Evening
The roommate’s mother finally arrived. She had quite the ordeal in getting here. The poor woman’s ferry ran aground because their steering went out. They had to be pulled off the rocks. We went straight to Bath and Turtle to get her food since she hadn’t eaten all day.
Once back home I immediately retired to my room to watch YouTube. I was exhausted.
