Hungover
Seems I can’t drink socially without consequences. Not nearly as bad as last time, I didn’t drink nearly as much either. Totally need more water though. The bad feelings are already passing but I’m still very sluggish today. I do wish I could have slept in later though. I may even try for a nap today if things don’t improve enough.
Work
After a while of coalescing we set out to accomplish stuff. Dropped curtains off to be shortened, stopped by the hardware store a few times, and even checked on a couple of the villas. Seem the handle on the kitchen faucet has broken at one. Nothing we can do about it either as there isn’t a replacement anywhere on the island.
Once lunch was consumed I had to head next door to touch up the pool a bit in preparations for the owner’s arrival later today. The work wasn’t too hard, but this pool is another bane to my existence. Since the owners are coming I’m hoping we can convince them to do some repairs to the system which will improve my quality of life.
There was a bit more running around. I had to give one of the housekeepers a ride. On the way back in I crossed paths with the arriving owners. They sure were driving slowly. Beyond that I had leftover burgers from the party and crashed early.
