Morning
Woke up with my mind going a hundred miles an hour. Couldn’t stop thinking about what I need to do. Worrying about water (which I still don’t have) and cleaning the villa.
After a couple of episodes of Luke Cage it was time to run and do a welfare check on the villas. While I was out I also took a shower. Still no water at home. The housekeeper finally showed up, but at the wrong villa. Got her over to the right one to clean and now things seem to be cleared up.
Turns out she either misremembered or was misinformed about the current schedule. But it is now all cleared up and things are on schedule. Villa will be prepped for the guests tomorrow and the one their leaving will be closed up for the rest of the month. Just in time too as Hurricane Isaac is heading this way.
Isaac is weakening though, and the path projections show it going hundreds of miles south of us. Still a good idea to get as much closed up as possible as we might see wind gusts up to 30mph and a bunch of rain.

Luke Cage – Spoiler Warning
Now that the stress is done with, it’s time for more Luke Cage! I’m enjoying the show, but not really as much as some of the other Marvel series. Yay, Powerman and Iron Fist together! There is no way those plants could grow that fast. Oh, I see, I guess that makes a bit more sense.
Even though I didn’t enjoy the second season of Luke Cage as much as some of the other Netflix Marvel shows, there are a lot of things they did well. I love how they break the fourth wall from time to time. They’re really good at storytelling. And I love the little Easter eggs they throw in to their shows.
Evening
Now that I’ve finished season two of Luke Cage I think I need to take a dip in the pool to cool off. The lack of running water at the villa just makes things harder here. It felt so freeing to go for a dip in the nude. Now that I’m feeling cooler, it’s time for the next Purge movie, The Purge: Election Year.
