Coffee
Ugh, when I went grocery shopping yesterday, I totally forgot to buy coffee! My whole morning routine has been thrown off. Not only that, but I think I might be starting to get a withdrawal headache. Maybe I should go to the store really quick so I can make myself a cup o’ joe.
I need coffee for tomorrow anyway, so as the headache grew I made up my mind and went to the store. Got two bags of coffee, because why not? So now I sit here nursing a cup of coffee much later in the day than I usually do, but I think I can already feel the pain subsiding.
Minecraft
So I headed back to the end looking for shulkers. I found an end city not too far from the one I already discovered. Of course, that was after I plummeted to my death due to the buggy game. A quick kill of the software and I loaded back in on an island where I should have been. Seems that on the Switch, moving too fast will desync your character’s location with the world. You know, like that old boat glitch they fixed forever ago in the Java version?
After plundering most of that end city I headed back home with a stash of shulker shells, enough to nearly fill my ender chest with shulker boxes. Now I’m just going through my stuff deciding on what kinds of things I want to make available to me at all times. I’ve got a redstone box, a precious minerals box, a quartz box, and a food box so far.
Bamboo
Welp, I’m an idiot! Turns out you can just fish up bamboo in any jungle in this version. I travelled a few hundred blocks to my nearest jungle and went fishing. Twenty to thirty casts later and I got the one piece of bamboo I was looking for. All that traveling for nothing. I mean, I did find a few neat things, but I really didn’t want to generate so much world.
