Work
We’ve got some guests coming in soon for one of our villas in a couple of days. Lots to do to get the place ready for its first real guests. I helped too! Got some curtains up, put a rug in place, and I even helped install a dishwasher. Everyone was afraid of hooking up the electric but it was pretty simple to do.
After lunch we headed back out for some more work. Guests just vacated another villa so we went by to pick over the stuff they left behind (Free booze!). Next was a stop by Yates for some pool service supplies. Finally it was back to the villa for some more finishing touches.
Even with all that, the work is never done. We had to repossess a WiFi box and get it replaced for new tenants. And of course, the new tenants wanted to talk for a while. Not only that, but then we had to meet with an owner who has been in town for a few days and leaves soon.
Good News
While getting the wireless taken care of at Flow we talked about the workers we’d seen around. Turns out they’re running fiber! Hopefully that means we can get away from this shitty cellular internet and get some real broadband rocking.
