Morning
Lots of wind and rain overnight. Woke me up at one point because the rain was splattering me. Still no water this morning. I’m starting to think when the plumber switch us back to city water he did something wrong. I just wish I knew the plumbing in this house better so I could check it myself. I hope the house next door has water today.
And that’s a no. Instead of a shower today I got to take a dip in the pool. I think I might have to trek to a different nearby house tonight. I’m running out of clean laundry and haven’t had a proper shower in a couple days. But I have other concerns to take care of first, like I need to do some grocery shopping for the guests arriving today.
Got the shopping done, but along the way there were more problems found at the villa. One of the dish remotes isn’t working right and the AC unit in that same bedroom is broken. Luckily, it turns out that they won’t be using that bedroom, so we’re in the clear until they leave.
Afternoon
With time to kill before the guests arrive, I might as well play some video games. It’s been a while since I’ve played anything besides No Man’s Sky though. Maybe I should go back to Sleeping Dogs. . .
Sleeping Dogs – Spoiler Warning
I decided to just focus on the storyline missions for now. First one up was driving around some famous chick. Seems her friend is really into racing so off we went! I won that race with no issues, even with two passengers, won a cool hundred grand doing it too.
After that I had to go re-arrange some furniture to scare the temporary boss into stepping down. Unfortunately as soon as I was done, Uncle Po died, so things got a bit complicated. Next up, Sonny had me bug the chick’s place and hack her computer. With a copy of that given to the police, he was gonna go down and I was able to get Jackie out of jail.
I went and picked up Jackie and we got some suits for the funeral. Cops arrested Sonny at the funeral, and then just left us there with no protection from the gathered 18K! I had to shoot my way outa there and save everyone.
Turned out that was just the beginning of an all out war. The next thing I knew the 18K were attacking everyone. I was barely able to make it out alive. Luckily, I think I was able to turn Ricky to my side again Big Smile Lee. After that I had to rush to rescue Jackie, they had him buried alive. Poor guy is so shook up that he wants out. I don’t blame him.
Evening
So the guests are finally ready to arrive. Turns out they missed the boat from Beef Island cause someone told them it was broken down. They ended up coming in from Road Town instead. But I was able to get them up to their villa and all is done! So stressful, I’m not cut out to greet guests.
After making my way home I ran my laundry to a nearby villa, it’s washing now. Once it’s done and dry I’ll take a quick shower up there and retire for the evening. It’ll be a late bedtime, but tomorrow is wide open so no need to wake up early.
Meh, I changed my mind. The laundry is done washing, so I brought it home to dry. I’ll take a dip in the pool to rinse and cool off, but I’ll wait to shower until tomorrow. Bedtime bitches!
