Morning
Another morning, nothing special. Played some No Man’s Sky, built a couple more stasis devices and sold them. Started the day’s frigate missions. I think I’m at a point where the game is just over for me now. Sure there’s more I could do, but I just don’t feel it as much.
Work
Got the housekeeper over to the villa. Handyman showed up to help her as well. I don’t know what time the owners will arrive today but hopefully they’ll done and out before then. Luckily the roommate will be back in just a couple more days and I can go back to not being in charge.
Afternoon
Alan Wake
I’ve begun playing Alan Wake. Made it through the first two chapters. The game is pretty good. It’s a bit outdated, but that’s good because it plays well on my MacBook. I’m enjoying the story, gameplay isn’t too bad either. It’s been recommended to me a few times by friends, and I’ve been sitting on it for a long time, just never got around to playing it.
The mechanics are pretty simple and easy to understand. It’s mostly pretty linear too, which is good. The real problem I have is that everything is so dark. There’s just so much sunlight where I am. Combining that with the issues my MacBook has with its display (Staingate anyone?) makes it hard to see details sometimes.
Unfortunately, I think it’s too late to do anything about the issue, plus I’m outside of America and have no idea how I’d even get it fixed. I don’t think I could be without this computer for as long as it would take to ship it off for repair. I just wish there was a simple solution to the problem. I’ve heard you can remove the antiglare coating with Listerine, but I’m not gonna try that.
No Man’s Sky
After a few hours of that, I jumped into No Man’s Sky again for a little while. Was almost immediately met with a 46+8 slot hauler! I bought it immediately and traded in my broken down hauler. Cost roughly 75m units. Started decking it out and as I was doing so I saw a 47+8 hauler, lol. Too late to trade it in, I had already spent a good amount of materials and effort upgrading the one I had.
Mr Robot
Started the third season, just one episode so far. It almost seems like they’re going to go a bit sci-fi. Would be kinda cool if they did. Time travel travel or some shit? I highly doubt it, but this show has thrown a few huge twists.
Evening
An interesting evening. Ran by a villa with my dirty dishes and dirty clothes. First, started my laundry, then cleaned the dishes. While the laundry ran I went out and picked up a pizza, ate dinner, showered, and watched an episodes of Mr Robot. By the time that was over it was dark so I just headed home for bed.
