Work
It has been a long day. Started off normal with heading out to a villa to do some prep work. Lots of little things to do for the arrival Monday. Housekeepers have been cleaning for three days now. Got a couple of rugs put out, replaced a door handle, and put some furniture together.
The place is really coming together. Just last week it was still needing to much work. It is almost completely ready for guests. Just needs a little more work and it will be mostly ready.
While that was going on, we ran into an issue with the shower at another villa. The faucet valve is broken and wouldn’t turn off. So we got the plumber out to look at it but the part we need isn’t available anywhere on the island right now. He’s going to put in a temporary fix in the hopes that we’ll get a part eventually.
Evening
By the time everything was done it was almost time for dinner. I took a few minutes to test our pool and do a little scrubbing, but I was much too exhausted to do a lot. We have people coming over tomorrow, so I’m going to end up spending a lot of the early day trying to clean it.
