Disappointment
Originally, the plan for today was to go to the Anegada Lobster Festival but that had to change when we got a last minute booking for one of our villas. The guests are arriving today so we have to be here to greet them. I was really looking forward to going, but there will always be next year.
Range Change
Yesterday, during the Black Friday sale at a local grocery store, the roommate purchased a new range for one of our villas. The price was phenomenal for something like that here. This morning I helped our handyman get it moved to the villa. It really wasn’t that bad, the thing is pretty light.
More Work
Later in the morning the roommate and I headed out for a bit more work. We stopped by one villa to deal with some new curtains we will have installed later. We also dropped off a door cover for a dishwasher at another villa.
Once we got back home I did some work on our upcoming website, changed a bit of the header to have it work better. I still need a get an image to use throughout the site for the header though. Then it was time for some accounting. I’ve adjusted the invoice template in QuickBooks, just need to do some data entry next.
I think I’m going to try to make myself do a little work everyday in QuickBooks. There’s so much I need to catch up with, and I need to get better about staying on top of it all. I’ve left myself more work to do in catching up as well. I really need to do better to motivate myself to work.
