Morning
Nice start to the day. It’s really windy now, a bit of rain off and on. That hurricane sure is messing with the weather. I drank my pot of coffee while watching YouTube and playing No Man’s Sky. Once that was done I headed next door for a shower. Unfortunately, even though that villa should be running on a cistern, it had no water flow either. Looks like the only shower I’m getting today is of the rain variety.
I didn’t realize there was only 10 episodes of Iron Fist in the second season. Decided I would just finish it off before getting anything done. It’s too bad there were other plans in the works. Power issues at the villa we have guests coming to tomorrow
Afternoon
Took a while to figure it out, but the problem isn’t anything in my control. Power company is having phase issues. Luckily they’re already working on it. Took way to long to figure it all out though. While waiting I did get myself a nice lunch at Pirates and Mermaids.
Of course, the power is out here too. Luckily I have battery power to keep my internet and everything up. Gah, now that I’ve finally finished Iron Fist I want more! Why they always gotta leave such a cliffhanger?
Power’s back up now, I wonder if that means they’ve fixed the issue at the villa. No news from the handyman, but he could just be busy. I guess I should take a run up there to see.
Finally got the power company to look at the issue, turns out it isn’t their problem. A leg on the main breaker is bad. Had to get an electrician out to bypass it. Now power is back on, but there will have to be work done later to properly fix the issue.
Evening
After getting all the stress out of the way I need to just chill and watch TV.
