Morning
A slow morning today. Spent a bit of time playing more No Man’s Sky. It’s sort of become a ritual now. I drink my coffee and start frigate missions, craft a stasis device to sell. It has gotten a bit repetitive though.
Tiny Bang Story
Yesterday I got a game for free, The Tiny Bang Story. It’s a cute little puzzle game, I’ve quite enjoyed it. The biggest issue I have is that it crashes frequently. Sometimes when it crashes it bugs out puzzles and the only way to fix it is to restart from the beginning.
First time that happened I was only on the second area, so I restarted in the hopes of continuing. Made it past that area without an issue, but then it did it again on the third area. I really wish I could just keep playing as I’ve enjoyed the game but I can’t just keep restarting from the beginning every level.
Hacknet
Decided to give Hacknet a try. It’s a cool little game. I’m sure I haven’t gotten very far in it, but I’ve enjoyed what I played so far. I have a feeling there is a lot of “story” I’m missing because I’m not really reading everything. Not sure how much I’ll actually play, but I’m sure I’ll be back at it at some point.
Afternoon
Still trying to find new ways to entertain myself. Downloading RimWorld again as I type this. Last time I tried it I barely played, can’t even really remember. I realized I have the first two Witcher games. I wish internet here was better (and not metered) so I could download them. Not sure why I didn’t download them when I bought them back in Atlanta.
Evening
Wow, I can’t believe I just spent all day playing RimWorld. . . I’m not very good at this game. I’ve restarted twice so far and I think my third try is doing better. This game combines so many other games that I’ve enjoyed. It has the Prison Architect feel combined with Oxygen Not Included gameplay. I’m digging it.
