Morning
It’s nice not having a pile of dishes when I wake up. It was also nice to not have to leave the house to take a shower, a hot shower at that. I’m still trying to meet up with someone to get payment for renters. Today I wanted to go visit a nearby villa to take some pictures for the site, but they’re up there actively working on it which makes getting good pics difficult.
No Man’s Sky
I played more No Man’s Sky, almost completed the exocraft technician questline. Got my farms filled out more too. I’ve run into an annoying bug though. I have a mining unit on a salt deposit but it’s giving me copper. I really need that salt. I’m not really hurting for money or resources otherwise. I do wish I could find a better multitool.
I’ve got all 16 glyphs for the Atlas purge. Not sure what to do with that though. I don’t want to reset yet, but I think there’s more I have to do before that can happen. I still need to get better drives for my ship. Maybe I’ll see about hitting a red star.
Some of the planets you find around those red stars are interesting! I visited a few to pick up a bunch of cadmium. [REDACTED] was a bizarre experience. Giant plants that I couldn’t scan, but it looked really cool. I also visited a malfunctioning planet full of weird technological plants. Pretty cool looking place. Now I have an emeril drive so I can visit even more new and exciting planets.
I’ve had my fill of No Man’s Sky for now. The question is what to do next? I think maybe a little TV or something. I just watched the first trailer for Captain Marvel and it looks like it’s going to be another fantastic Marvel movie!
Afternoon
I watched the last episode of Salvation for this season. That ending was pretty intense. I really really really hope they pick it up for a third season. And if they do, I really hope they don’t fuck it up. Don’t worry, no spoilers for the show here, watch it for yourself!
After that I began watching Elementary, I think it’s the last one of the season. I like the direction the show is headed next. I was interrupted in my watching though, had to run out to pick up a check as payment for some guests. Glad that is finally done though, should have had the check a week or more ago.
So back to No Man’s Sky again, this time with a friend. The internet was surprisingly good to allow me to play a game. I spent a good deal of time helping him out with his base. Collected some salvaged technology for him and showed him how to make some of the basics. In the end, the internet did crap out though, so I called it a day.
Evening
Time for some TV and YouTube. Although really the only TV I have right now is Stan Lee’s Lucky Man. I really should get back to watching Mr Robot sometime. That show was so amazing the first season but for some reason I stopped after a couple of episodes into season 2. Maybe I should add that to my playlist. I do have a couple movies I can watch as well.
