Morning
Another morning spent playing No Man’s Sky. This game really does take a lot of time. I’ve gotten myself four biodomes now, still need to fill them though. Finally got a galactic trade terminal too.
I had to take a break from playing to get a little work done. I have to deal with payroll. Luckily there isn’t a whole lot to it. Now I just need the handyman to stop by to get his money.
Afternoon
Handyman got paid, that’s all the work for today. The plumber came by today too, he switched me back over the cistern! I finally have water again. . . and the first thing to do was dishes. So many dishes . . .
Back in No Man’s Sky I’ve been busy farming. Got a new base setup now and have a biodome for each of the plants I can grow. I’ve transferred most everything to the new base too. Just have a bit more to go to get everything moved over. I’ve been playing for too long, I need to take a break.
I think I’ll watch the newest episode of The Last Ship. I must say, this show is pretty cheesy, but it’s actually good. They do a decent job with realism and the storylines are good. It’s not the best show out there, but it is worth the watch. Kinda sad the show is on its last season.
Now that I’m feeling a bit refreshed from my break, I think next up is more No Man’s Sky. I know, I probably play way too much. I’m so happy that I finally figured out how you’re meant to add storage to your base.
For the longest time I just dropped the containers in random spots on the ground because I couldn’t get it to snap right. Turns out that storage containers snap to corridors! So now I’ve added some extra corridor connections in my base and stuck in the storage containers. Now I just need to re-arrange their contents to match where they’re located.
Evening
With dinner I tried to watch a YouTube video but the internet just isn’t playing ball. I moved the modem once and it just wouldn’t reconnect so I moved it back to where it was previously. I really wish I could find the perfect spot for this thing, but no dice. Maybe tomorrow I should play around a bit more to try new locations.
One of my friends was actually able to join my game. He was unhappy because I’ve progressed more than he has. He said he doesn’t want me visiting his world because his base sucks. I thought maybe I had more time in the game, but my save is only at around 50 hours and he’s got over 80 in the game.
