Pool Supplies
Got our first bits of pool maintenance equipment today. Ordered a testing kit from a place on Tortola and had it delivered on the ferry. Stupid me, I showed up like half an hour early for the ferry. But now I can test pools.
While I was out I also picked up some muriatic acid. Unfortunately, no one on the island seems to have any large quantities of baking soda. Going to have to see about ordering a 50lb bag to be delivered on the ferry soon. I also picked up a couple buckets, although I was hoping for some 2gal buckets and could only find 5gal.
Running Around
Also did some running around this morning. Stopped by to check out work being done on one villa. It’s coming along but there’s a lot more to do before it’s ready to rent. Guests left another villa and cleanup is underway. The hot water situation in another of our villas is FINALLY over. Took a few different people looking at it over the last couple months to get it right.
Personal Hygiene
So when I moved here I brought a couple sets of clippers with me, one for hair and one to trim my goatee. Somehow I missed packing the cord for the goatee trimmer so there’s no way to charge it! I ended up going out to get another beard trimmer today, so I can finally get this mess under control again.
Minecraft
Once again I took some time before bed to play Minecraft. I really didn’t get a whole lot done though. I traded a little with villagers for some enchants. I wanna make a great diamond chestplate to wear and enchant a nice trident. Did you know you can bonemeal sugarcane now?!? I need to make a simple sugarcane grower for villager trading.
