Stardew Valley
More Farm Planning
While sipping my coffee and preparing my day I just couldn’t stop thinking about my farm in Stardew Valley. So I did a bit more research, read up on some things, and made notes about what I want to do the when I play next. I’m still in early Summer so I have time to plant crops I’m going to need for some bundles.
I just need one more fishing level until I can get the iridium fishing rod, but I don’t have nearly enough money to buy one. Problem is, I’m having issue catching a few fish because they’re crazy hard, so having that rod (and the right tackle) will help immensely.
Farming
I’ve gotten the Summer bundle complete! The town was really happy with my contribution of a melon to the Luau. I have so many melons growing right now. I’ve finally made it past level 60 in the mines, gonna get me so many sprinklers. My chickens have begun pooping out large eggs too. Every day on the farm is so rewarding.
Work
Going to be busy day for work today. Barely finished my breakfast and I’ve already moved a ladder and a crib. Later in the day we headed off to do the finishing touches on a villa. We picked up the welcome package for the guests arriving this evening. Made another stop at a different villa to just check on it and make sure everything is in order for the arrival tomorrow.
Scams
So I’m now working on another article about scams. I’m looking deeper into the phenomenon of fake online retailers and cookie cutter shops. It’s actually kind of amazing how many there are. I’m actually interested to find out more about how they operate, I think I might contact some people on Reddit who appear to be taking part in those kind of sites.
Not sure exactly how to approach it, I’d kind of like to “interview” them to get an idea of who they are and how they’re involved in what they do. It’s possible they’re just someone in a third world country working for pennies or they may be a mastermind behind a huge online scam business.
QuickBooks
I’ve continued my data entry. Gotten so far as to entering the employees’ timesheets for October as well as their paychecks. This is actually not going to be so bad a part of the catch-up work. There is still a bit more I need to deal with beyond that, but things are coming along on the accounting front.
Factorio
Even with Stardew Valley to keep me busy, I still miss Factorio. I want to go back into my game and continue. I want those achievements I’m aiming for. I want more iron! It’s almost time for me to order a new laptop, so I’ll eventually get back to it. I think a new version is coming though and my existing factory might be too far along to continue because of upcoming changes!
