Back to Work (Monday)
Work
Light load this morning. Expected more, but didn’t have to. I started out by grabbing some guests’ trash and doing the usual Monday house walkthrough. Then I dropped off a check and that was all the running around I needed.
Restocking
Hit up a grocery store on the way home. Found a surprisingly good amount of things I wanted, although not everything. Still no sign of flavored creamers anywhere, nor is there any decent coffee. I haven’t had good coffee in weeks! Really hoping something is going to change soon.
Streaming
Long stream today! I started later in the afternoon, after catching up on a bit of TV. Got a lot done in my Minecraft world, just wish I could draw in more viewers. Honestly, I think I’d rather it all come together on Twitch than YouTube though. It’s okay, I’ll work with what I have.
Tuesday
Work
Started off the morning as usual, got the housekeeper going. . . Then it was time to fill out some forms for the bank. Stupid fucking banks. These forms are based around people who shelter their money and hide it from the tax man. All kinds of terms that I just didn’t understand. Had to look things up, etc. Worst part is, I shouldn’t have been the one to fill these forms out. The damned roommate shoulda done it. But she’s too fucking lazy.
As part of the process I got really annoyed with our current web host, so I began looking into switching to another host. And, with that, I have started the process of migrating from Network Solutions to Bluehost. I worked with chat support to make sure I understood the process well enough before going through with it. Now I sit back and wait for them to do their thing!
Streaming
Another stream that went into the evening. No games with friends means more time to play games alone on stream! Still modded Minecraft, no game development yet. I really should get back to that.
Wednesday
Work
Early day I got the employees going at one house. Then at home I did some office work. Around lunch time I was called away to a house to help unpack groceries. Crazy guests brought their entire kitchen it seemed. Got it done in no time though!
Restocking
HOLY SHIT! Today was the day! I found coffee, cubed ham, pepperoni, frozen pizza, and much more! I’m sure I didn’t need five bags of coffee, but after all the stores were out for so long I felt like I needed to stock up. The cubed ham is big though, never seen it at any of the stores here. And the pepperoni, it’s that normal sized stuff, unlike the pepperoni I found before which is huge. I need to make my own pizza(s) again soon!
Streaming
More Minecraft! Still only the same couple of viewers, but I’m hopeful that will change. I guess having a reliable audience is good, even if there’s only a couple of people.
Thursday
Work
Paperwork for the bank. Got the employees working. Not much outside of the usual today. Oh yeah, payroll too. Had to get the cash to the employees!
Streaming
Once again, more Minecraft. Just can’t seem to get enough. Course, I think it’s what my viewers want, and I’m enjoying it, so might as well keep it going. I’m progressing through the modpack at a decent rate. At the same time I’m trying to add my own aesthetic too the world.
Pool Day (Friday)
Work
Love it, started too early. Got called by the employees while I was in the shower to unlock a house they don’t need open yet. Ugh. . . After I was clean and clothed I went down and unlocked the house.
Pools
Once I finished eating, it was time to clean some pools! I started at the easy house because we have an arrival today and I don’t know what time they get in. After I gave that pool a thorough cleaning it was time for my nemesis, which really needed it. The guests that just left did NOTHING to keep it clean. It was only a week, and it had the most leaves I’d ever seen in it. Once I was finally done there, I made my way around to the rest of the pools. They were all mostly easy.

Wasn’t exactly in the mood to stream. Lots of things just didn’t go my way today. But in the end it was great fun! I got a really good amount of stuff built and working in the world. And in the end, I left with a smile on my face and a mouth full of laughter.
Saturday
Work
Quick little jaunt this morning to deliver toilet paper. Actually, I went out shopping and dropped off the TP while I was out. Then it was time for the usual Saturday ritual. . .
Accounting
Month-end is here and waiting for me! I sat down and took care of the usual Saturday accounting catch-up as well as to do ALL the month-end stuff for March. Took a bit longer than I’d like, but in the end I got it all done. I didn’t even have to wait for (or remind) the roommate to send me the CC charges. I finally finished after many hours. It felt good to be done.

And, of course, as soon as I was done with the accounting it was time to play more Minecraft!

Another Sunday full of Minecraft. . . Can’t remember exactly what I did but I enjoyed myself.
