Welcome
Oh look, another new user! If you’re a real person, it’s a pleasure to have you. I have a feeling that it’s just another bot though. I would expect bots to try to do their spammy things right away and not hibernate. I could understand hibernating on bigger sites, but on a site as small as mine it makes no sense.
Work
We have a long-term renter that’s going to be moving in soon. They stopped by and weren’t very happy with the place. Turns out they expected it to be a bit more furnished than it is. Since we may not have been clear enough about that, we spent the morning shopping for stuff. Hopefully now the place will be good enough for the guy.
Advertising
I’ve tasked myself with putting together an advertising proposal to our owners. As it stands now, we basically advertise our site and occasionally put out a post on facebook to push a villa that may need renting. What we want to do is have our villa owners supplement those costs.
I’ve begun by throwing together a bit of information into an outline of what we have, what we do, and what we can offer. It’s nothing stellar, but it’s a start. I’m hoping to rope by brother and his wife into expanding it with ideas.
Minecraft
I’ve begun tearing down the guardian temple. Although, today I got 1.8 so I could go exploring to look for all kinds of new stuff. I really should see about getting some bamboo so I can start using scaffolding. That will be so handy to have when building.
At first when I started playing I was having major issues with the game lagging. It would lag so bad when saving that it appeared frozen for quite a while. Eventually I rebooted my Switch and that seems to have resolved that problem.
Okay, that’s messed up. . . I saved and quit on a little island near the guardian temple and when I relaunched I was dead at spawn, my stuff just strewn about everywhere. Thankfully I was able to find all my stuff, but it was spread over like 50+ blocks.
Featured Image
I had a hard time finding a good subject for today’s featured image. I wanted to do something different than clouds. Today we have a patch of seagrapes. I like the way the sun lights them up and the shadows it creates.
