Morning
This morning the roommate and her mother headed out early to walk. I’m staying behind because I just don’t want to go with. I’m an awkward kind of guy and it’s already been “weird” for me to have her around. Not like in a bad way, it’s just outside of my element. I’m sure in time I would grow accustomed to it. Luckily, I don’t really have to since I’m leaving for Atlanta in two days, and they’ll be gone a few days after I get back.
Cultist Simulator
I’ve continued playing Cultist Simulator, both for fun and to add to the guide. I’m still learning so much and I’ve barely made a dent in the game. I failed once again, this time I was sent to prison. One of my followers died and left me with a corpse. I had no way to dispose of the corpse and the investigator found out about it. I have found that increasing Reason is one of the hardest things to do in the game. I can get four Health and Passion with the right amount of work, but I just can’t seem to get more than two Reason cards.
The worst part is, losing sets me back in adding new content to the guide. I’ve mostly got the early game locked down though. I think maybe I should just play a bit risky to get some more information for the guide. I did figure out how to get a third Reason card, but it is still one of the hardest resources to increase.
Afternoon
Sleeping Dogs – Spoiler Warning
I decided to start out by continuing the main storyline. Didn’t expect to have to kill a bunch of 18K attacking the hospital to kill Uncle Po. After a lot of headshots I was able to save the old man, then escape the police who showed up.
After saving the day again, I decided it was time for some more cop work, there’s a serial killer out there I need to find. The first step was to head out the crime scene to gather evidence. Seems the perp might just be a doctor who’s harvesting organs.
After that it was a trip to the hospital where I identified the doctor. Turns out he’s working for the 18K, harvesting organs for them from my Triad. I planted a bug in his office to collect more evidence. I finally figured out that one mission, Cheaters Never Prosper 3. You have to drive past the waypoint they give you. So messed up.

I spent a bit of time this afternoon taking more pictures for this site. I’m not planning on bringing my good camera with me to Atlanta. Since I use a unique photo for every blog post I wanted to make sure I’d have some to cover what I write while I’m there. I’m certain I’ll get a few with my phone and it would make sense for them to be photos of my current surroundings.
Evening
We started the evening by meeting with one of the villa owners. We spent a good hour going over things. He had some concerns about the house as well as some updates to our information.
Once we were done with that we picked up the roommate’s mother to go out to Cocomaya for dinner. It is my favorite restaurant on the island. The sunset was beautiful and the food was great.
After that, we headed home and I was in bed pretty quick.
