Waterless Wednesday

Morning

Woke up worrying again. Still haven’t heard from the housekeeper. We got guests coming into a villa tomorrow and it isn’t ready. Oh, and there’s no water either. The plumber came by yesterday and switched us from cistern to city water. I need to get put back on cistern!

So I was able to get the keys and everything finished and ready at the Hunter house for the guests coming in today. Still nothing from the housekeeper who needs to clean Christiana, but the roommate says she should be in touch shortly. Still no water, but luckily I was able to get a shower at a nearby villa, I was getting stanky.

Oh my God, things are just as stressful as ever. I really don’t like being in charge. Would much prefer being a worker bee. Did get laundry going at Christiana at least. Also did some cleaning since I have no housekeeper to do it. Luckily, the guest arrival has been pushed back by a day. I still have tomorrow to finish preparing.

Afternoon

After a stressful morning of worrying about the housekeeper and getting everything working smoothly I decided to play some more No Man’s Sky. Unfortunately, the bugs there just drove me batty. I progressed some by scanning another system, getting a couple daggers for a quest, and gathering some materials. I’m stuck on one mission though, I have to fight sentinels. It just wouldn’t complete. In the end I tried skipping to another mission but my character got stuck in the world (again) and I couldn’t do anything but exit without saving.

I decided to watch the first episode of The Last Ship. From what I understand, this is going to be its final season. I think it’ll be a pretty good one. Once that was over I began watching the new season of Iron Fist, only to realize that I missed the second season of Luke Cage, which I should watch first. So now I’m putting Iron Fist on hold until I can finish Luke Cage.

In the meantime I have a few movies I can watch, like why not the Purge series. I saw the first one, so next up is Anarchy followed by Election Year. The First Purge is still not available yet, so I’m adding that to my list of movies to watch.

The movie wasn’t too bad. It was a bit dark, so watching it while the sun is nice and bright outside made it a little hard to see from time to time. It isn’t exactly one of those story-driven movies though, which is good, I needed something more action-oriented.

Watching The Purge: Anarchy also allowed me enough time to download the first episode of Luke Cage season 2 to watch. I’ve got the oven heating up to cook a pizza for dinner and some good TV to watch. A decent end to another stressful day.

Evening

Yummy DiGiorno supreme pizza, a Dark ‘n’ Stormy, and Luke Cage. What a great combination to start the evening. Hmm, not sure yet how I’m liking this season. These Netflix Marvel shows do tend to start off slow though. Ok, so you’re super strong and impervious. You really need to make such a mess in someone’s house fighting a normal dude?
